Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Simply Social Agent ("we", "us") collects when you use the app, how we use it, who helps us run the app, and the choices you have.

Information you give us

  • Your login: your email address and a password. Logins are handled by our login provider, Supabase. Your password isn't saved in our own app tables.
  • Your profile: your name, brokerage, market area, preferred writing style, and, if you add them, your target buyers, phone number and contact email.
  • Your listings: address, price, beds, baths, square feet, features, and status (for sale, under contract, sold).
  • Your photos and videos, kept in private storage that only your account can open.
  • Your posts: captions, the dates and times you schedule, which apps each post goes to, and whether it posted.
  • Listing screenshots you choose to have the app read, so it can fill in the details for you.

Information we get from services you connect

  • Instagram: your Instagram account ID, username, and an access key (token) that lets the app post for you. When you open your results, the app asks Instagram for your recent posts and their likes, comments, shares, saves and reach, and shows them to you. Those numbers are not saved in our database.
  • Facebook: the ID and name of the Facebook Page you pick and an access key for that Page.
  • Payments: from Stripe, your plan, its status, the date it renews, and Stripe's ID numbers for you and your subscription. We don't receive or store your full card number.

Information saved automatically

  • How many AI captions you've used each month, to apply your plan's limits.
  • If you turn on reminders: the web address and keys your browser gives us to send notifications to that device.
  • Records our hosting provider keeps when the app runs (such as server logs). These can include technical details like your IP address and browser.

How we use it

  • To run the app for you: save your listings, write captions, schedule posts, and post them.
  • To send you post reminders, if you turned them on.
  • To manage your free trial, your plan, and your payments.
  • To fix problems and keep the app working.

We don't sell your information, and we don't use it for advertising. The app has no advertising or third-party analytics trackers.

Who helps us run the app

We share information with these companies only as needed for them to do their part:

  • Supabase: logins, our database, and photo storage.
  • Vercel: hosts the app and runs it.
  • Stripe: takes payments and manages subscriptions. Your card details go straight to Stripe.
  • Anthropic (the company behind Claude AI): when you ask for captions, we send your listing details, your notes, your name, brokerage and market area, and sometimes a photo. When you have the app read listing screenshots, we send those screenshots.
  • Google: when you type an address, what you type is sent to Google Places to suggest matching addresses.
  • Meta (Instagram and Facebook): when a post goes out, we send its photos or videos (through a temporary private link that expires after an hour) and its caption to the account you connected, plus its cover photo as a story if you turned that on.
  • Your browser's notification service (such as Apple, Google or Mozilla): delivers your reminders, if you turned them on.

Each of these companies handles information under its own terms and privacy policy. We may also share information if the law requires it.

Cookies and storage on your device

We use cookies to keep you logged in, and a short-lived cookie to keep your Instagram or Facebook connection safe while you log in there. Your browser also remembers a few app settings on your device, like which badges you've seen and your favorite caption style. We don't use advertising cookies.

How long we keep it

We keep your information while your account is open. You can delete listings, posts and connections any time, and deleting your account erases the information listed in our Data Deletion Instructions.

Keeping it safe

Your photos are in private storage, and our database is set up so each account can only reach its own information. Instagram and Facebook access keys are only ever read by our server, never sent to your browser. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your password private.

Your choices

  • Edit your profile any time under ? → My account → Edit my profile.
  • Disconnect Instagram or Facebook from your Home page.
  • Turn reminders off in your browser or phone settings.
  • Delete your account under ? → My account → Delete my account.
  • Email john3smith615@gmail.com to ask for a copy of your information or to ask any question.

Children

Simply Social Agent is for real estate professionals. It isn't meant for anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

When we change this policy, we'll update the version and date at the top. For important changes, we'll let you know in the app or by email before they take effect.
